For Families
Bringing your child somewhere new takes trust. Here's exactly how Sunday works for kids at Crossroads, so you know what you're walking into.
What happens
Kids are welcome in the service with their families, and there's also a space of their own where they'll hear a Bible story pitched at their age, sing, make something, and play.
Either choice is a normal choice. If your child would rather stay with you, or you'd rather keep them close on a first visit, that's completely fine and nobody will ask you about it.
Stop at the welcome desk when you arrive and someone will walk you through it — it takes a couple of minutes the first time and seconds after that.
You'll be reachable during the service, and only you can collect your child afterward.
Every adult who works with children here is screened before they're allowed to serve, and children are never left alone with one adult.
If you'd like to know more about how we do this before you visit, ask us — it's a fair question and we'd rather answer it than have you wonder.
Questions
Bring them along this Sunday. Or ask us anything first — we’d far rather answer a question now than have you wonder about it in the car park.
