Privacy policy

The short version

We only collect what you type into one of our two forms. We don’t track you around the internet, we don’t run analytics, we don’t set advertising cookies, and we never sell or rent your information to anyone. Prayer requests you mark private are not published anywhere.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us:

• Contact form. Your name and email address (both needed so we can reply), your phone number if you choose to add it, and your message.
• Prayer request form. Your prayer request, and — only if you fill them in — your name and email. Both are optional. You can send a request completely anonymously.
• Your sharing choice on a prayer request: prayer team only, or okay to share with the congregation.

We also briefly handle your IP address when you submit a form, purely to stop automated spam. It is held in the server’s memory for a few minutes and is not written to our database.

We don’t collectpayment card details, and there are no accounts to create on this site. We don’t use analytics or tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

To answer your question, or to pray for you. That’s it. We won’t add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form, and we won’t use your prayer request for anything other than praying.

How it’s stored

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, our hosting provider, and sent over an encrypted connection.

What you send is stored so that it cannot be read by the public — not through this website, and not by anyone poking at it from outside. Only signed-in church staff can read it.

In practice that means our pastoral and office team.

Prayer requests

This one matters, so plainly: every prayer request form has two options, and “prayer team only” is selected by default. If you leave it that way, your request is not printed in a bulletin, read aloud to the congregation, posted online, or shared beyond the people who pray.

It is only shared more widely if you actively choose the second option. If a request arrives without a clear choice for any reason, we treat it as private.

Prayer requests are never published on this website.

How long we keep it

We keep what you send us for as long as it takes to respond, to pray, and to follow up properly — and no longer than we have a reason to. Nothing you send is kept for marketing, because we don’t do any.

Whatever the period, you can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.

Other services we use

• Supabase — hosts the database holding form submissions.
• Tithe.ly— if you give online, the Give button sends you to Tithe.ly’s own site. Your payment happens entirely there; we never see or store your card or bank details. Tithe.ly’s privacy policy applies to that part.
• Google Maps— the maps on our visit and contact pages are embedded from Google. Loading them means Google can see your IP address, as it would on any page with a Google map. If you’d rather avoid that, the address is written out as text right next to the map.

Seeing or deleting your information

Just ask. Tell us roughly when you got in touch and we’ll find it. You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it.

We’ll do it, and we won’t ask you why.

Children

This website isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them through it. If you think a child has sent us something through a form, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
